Charcoal

Using both traditional ring kilns and our retort kiln, we produce and sell high quality hardwood charcoal made from wood sourced locally as part of our woodland management and coppice restoration work.

You can purchase Coppice Co-op charcoal from our yard (you can order online and collect, or pay at the yard by BACS), or from any of our local stockists including:

Arnside Spar, Silverdale Spar, Carr Bank Garden Centre, Stuart Smiths Butchers of Milnthorpe, Houghtons Filling Station and Garden Centre, Eskdale campsite.
